How GPA is calculated: For each course, multiply the grade point (e.g. A = 4.0) by the credit hours. Sum all those products and divide by the total credit hours. The result is your GPA. Weighted (5.0) scales give higher points for honours or advanced courses. Enter only completed courses with final grades; leave in-progress or pass/fail courses out unless your institution includes them in GPA.

What is a good GPA?
